BBS organized visits for KAMAZ top management to IVECO, VOLVO, SCANIA & MAN companies- leading truck manufacturers.

KAMAZ delegation visited IVECO (Turin, Italy) where they were met by Mr GROET Oscar (Vice President – international operations and development), Mr. F. Mizzi (Financial Director), Mr. P. Pennestri (Director on Production Development), Mr. G. Donald (Sales and Service Director – European Market), where at the meeting the following questions have been discussed:

1. Increase of effectiveness of sales department selling spare parts and providing service

2. Prospects of joint advancement (push) (KAMAZ- IVECO) of city trucks based on Russia's dealers' network

3. Speeding up the process of taking out (bringing out) new production to the market

4. Trade-in

5. Development of distribution networks

After discussions, the delegations visited the Factory of IVECO and a Dealer Centre.

On the 2nd day of their stay, KAMAZ representatives visited VOLVO (Sweden)

During the visit, they had discussions with the top management of the Company including

Mr. CLAES NILSSON (President Volvo Trucks’ Europe Division), Mr. Roger Alm (Managing Director of Eastern region), Mr. Lars CORNELIUSSEN (Managing Director Volvo Vostok).

After a round table meeting, participants of both companies visited VOLVO Factory and a Dealer Centre.

While in Sweden, KAMAZ also visited SCANIA Company – a truly recognized truck manufacturer.

In negotiations took part Mr. Hans HANSSON (Chief Advisor of President of SCANIA), Mr. Anders Nielsen (Senior VP), Mr. PER ORLOV SVEDLUND (Senior VP – Sales and Supplies)

The representatives of both companies paid attention to the questions of organization of pre-sale preparation, prospects of joint progress (advancement) of town trucks using the biggest in Russia Dealers' network, methods of stimulation of employees and dealers

After the visit they had a trip organized to the factory of SCANIA and also a Dealer Centre.

The last day of the Programme was spent visiting MAN (Germany), its head office, Factory and a Dealer Centre. VP of MAN NUTZFAHRZEUGE joined the group from KAMAZ on their trip to the Factory and a Dealer Centre.
