Due to the relevance of the topic, as well as multiple requests of companies and the same successful internship in the past, Britannica Business Systems invites your representatives to participate in an international practical internship on the topic “The latest mining technologies including lithium based on the advanced companies’ example in Latin America”, taking place from June 23 to 29, 2024 in Brazil and Chili.
Britannica Business Systems believes that participation in this internship will be indispensable for your specialists, as delegates are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest trends in the extraction and separation of lithium and lithium-containing compounds from ores and brines using the example of advanced producers in Chile and Brazil, as well as to learn the experience of advanced “green” technologies at the mines visited, including the use of automation of production for processing used water and minimizing the negative impact on the environment and production emissions.
During the visits, the delegation will get acquainted with the production of chemical-grade lithium concentrate without tailings dump and with 100% reuse of water used in processing. The delegation will also discuss issues related to reducing emissions generated during the production process and the actions of companies to minimize carbon emissions, etc.

- SQM – Salar del Carmen factory, near Antofagasta, Chile
- ALBEMARLE – Salar de Atacama factory, near Antofagasta, Chile
- MINERA SALAR BLANCO – Santiago, Chile
- SIGMA LITHIUM is a production facility in Grota do Cirilo (Mine and Factory), Brazil
Additionally, during the internship, visits to workshops, to production sites of the largest companies, the demonstration of the main technological processes within the program, as well as the equipment used, etc. are provided.
